2010 Fayetteville Stage Race

      General Rules
 
  • Please read the Race Bible for additional information.
  • All 2010 USAC rules will be effect.  In the event of conflicting information, the Race Bible guidance supercedes information provided on this website and USAC rules supercede information contained in the Race Bible. 
  • Valid and current USAC license must be presented at registration/packet pick-up.
  • Fields are limited to a minimum of 40 riders for the Pro/Cat 1 and Cat 2 categories and 15 riders for all other categories. If minimums are not met, the promoter reserves the right to combine fields or adjust prize list.
  • ALL RIDERS MUST SIGN-IN AT THE SIGN-IN TABLE BEFORE EACH ROAD RACE. Time Trial check-in will be the assignment of your start time.
  • TXBRA - Texas State Cup Event
  • Private follow vehicles are prohibited.
  • Event will be held rain or shine.

     Stage Race Rules
  • Time cuts will be enforced during the Road Race Stages.  Judging and timing at the finish shall be closed once the the category winner's time plus 20% has elapsed.
  • Placing in the stage race will be based on individual general classification (GC). Final GC shall be calculated by summing the rider's time in all individual stages, taking into account any time bonuses or penalties.
  • Intermediate time bonuses will be awarded in the Saturday and Sunday road race to the first three riders to cross the designated "Hot Spot". In addition, time bonuses will be awarded to the top three finishers in each road race.
  • Intermediate "Hot Spot" time bonuses consist of 3-seconds for 1st, 2-seconds for 2nd, and 1-second for 3rd. The time bonuses at the finish will consist of 10-seconds for 1st, 6-seconds for 2nd, and 4-seconds for 3rd.  Categories that start together will compete for the same set of time bonuses.
  • Ties in the final GC will be broken by taking into account the fractions of a second from the ITT results. If still tied the sums of the individual stage placings for each rider will be utilized. If still tied after using individual stage placings then the tie shall be broken by the utilizing placings in the final stage.
  • Warm-up will not be allowed on the course or staging areas.
